At VIP Puppets, we create epic puppetry with intimate audience interactions. Our huge scale creations have wowed audiences from Glastonbury to Rajasthan. We create characters of epic proportions, teamed with moments of intimate audience interaction, providing quality; larger than life puppet walkabout acts for festivals and events.
We are bursting at the seams with friendly, cheeky life-sized animals, that love nothing more than to be stroked and adored by humans (big and small) We have giraffes, zebras, lions, monkeys and birds. Come and help care for our animals, pet them, feed them, and even pick up their poo! We also have a range of human creatures: Cheeky Bouncers, Epic Sargent Peppers Be-Talls, and even a 12ft Mermaid.
All of our Walkabout Puppet Acts are available for hire across the UK and Worldwide. All performances are 3x45 minute or 6x45 minute sets per day. Please email vippuppets@gmail.com for all booking enquiries and costs.
At VIP Puppets we hand craft puppets and create bespoke performances at community and Corporate events as far afield as China, Zambia and India, as well as creating work especially for our favourite festivals and events in the UK, including, CBBC, Glastonbury, Bestival, Camp Bestival, Beverly Puppet Festival and Skipton Puppet Festival.
We run Puppet Education Programmes, often leading to Giant Puppet Creations: Locally, Nationally and Internationally, from Degree level to Nursery School and everything in between. Our Giant Walkabout Acts often have a community workshop which can run alongside the act.
